Kodak EasyShare EX811 Digital Photo Frames
August 21, 2007
Digital photo frames have become one of the most popular electronics gifts for teens, parents, and grandparents. Jumping on this trend, Kodak has introduced the Wi-Fi–enabled EasyShare EX811 (9.95 direct), a versatile display that suffers a bit in terms of image quality.
The EX811 has an 8-inch, 16:9 widescreen that can display pictures and video and play MP3s. Measuring 11.2 by 8.3 by 1.5 inches (HWD) and weighing 1.7 pounds, the frame is powered by a 12-volt adapter with a power brick and a conveniently long cord. Manual controls are located on the top of the frame for navigating through photos, accessing the menu, and playing a music slide show. The included remote control can be stowed away in a removable plastic holder on the back.
