Slide gets $50 million

Social-network code concern Slide said on weekday it had winking a $50 meg institutionalised finance round, rating the ascension valuations of start-ups sport fast-growing Facebook’s gesture of popularity.
Slide, a 65-employee consort supported by Max Levchin, 32, the Ukrainian-born co-founder of online payments consort PayPal, is the creator of individual of the most favourite code programs streaming on Facebook and News Corp.’s MySpace.com. Its Facebook programs allow Top Friends, FunWall, and SuperPoke.
In an interview, Levchin declined to study the institutionalised investors. But sources near to the finance care said the investors were Fidelity Investments and T Rowe Price.
